All emergency services for Somerset Township are
coordinated through Somerset County's 911 System. These
services include fire, police and emergency medical services.
To reach any of these services just dial 911 on your telephone.
HOW TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY CALL TO 911
Stay Calm. Try not to get excited.
Tell the person who answers the phone exactly what is wrong.
Tell them the exact location of the emergency.
Give them your name, address and phone number.
DO NOT HANG UP until the dispatcher tells you that you should. The dispatcher may need to ask for
additional information that will help the police officers, fire fighters or paramedics who will answer the
call.
